Airlines aren’t the only ones that seem to be in a holding pattern. We are too.

Our Bonsai are trying to hold on with all the strength of their roots until September, when we will start to cool down and get ready for our fall season. It’s imperative that we watch ever so carefully our watering regimen. Just one time of forgetting to water can cause the death of one of your beloved Bonsai. Here in the Dallas, Texas, area we are watering twice daily now, and will be until about the first of September. Does that sound like a lot of work for you? It takes only a few minutes to do this before we go to work and then again when we return. It is a great time to renew your appreciation for your Bonsai and how they really don’t take up that much time, but give you so much pleasure.

We are losing about 2 minutes a day of sunlight and this means that soon we will be cooling down. That’s what we have to look forward to.

What’s going on at Dallas Bonsai Garden…

We are awaiting our next shipment of items from Japan. They should clear Customs this week and be in our warehouse for us to ship out. There are 2 new Books from Japan in this shipment. As soon as we have them in our hands we will put them up on our website. One is on azaleas and the other is an outstanding book on some of Mr. Kato’s Bonsai. It’s absolutely fabulous. We also have a new book on Japanese maples that will be on our English language page of helpful books.

And before the next monthly email we will have some great new products from Japan that all of you will want to use. Please stay tuned…
