Pinus thunbergiana `Thunderhead'

A dwarf form of Japanese Black Pine. Large green needles with real white long buds. a very good candidate for Bonsai as it is not as gangly/stringy as the regular Japanese Black Pine.

1 year old graft. 3" tree pot. The needles are as long as the regular black pine but can be reduced. It also will throw off buds along the trunk which is very helpful in your attaining the correct shape for your Bonsai. Image showing a Bonsai one year older.

Beautiful Specimen

The tree is beautiful and was packaged well. I gave it four stars because when I took it out of the pot the container was loaded with ants. This may be beyond Dallas Bonsai's control but it was a little unsettling. Other than that the tree is a beautiful specimen and I look forward to years of enjoyment.
