Close-up of this container. 
Outstanding Finish on this Japanese Bonsai Container from the Tokoname area of Japan. Unbelievable detail. It looks like a high quality blown glass piece of artwork. The glaze runs and still it's not a rough texture on the surface. Actually it's as shiny as glass. The basic color is of a black glass. We've been around Japanese ceramic containers all our life and this one keeps us shaking our heads in disbelief at its beauty and detail. 7 x 6 x 1 3/4". |
