This is a new series of Wooden Handle Root Picks with shorter wooden handles. The hook size is 2 1/4 x 1 1/2". The overall length is 6 3/4" The hook portion goes all the way to the end of the handle so that you won't pull the hooks out of the handle when you're wresting with your Bonsai's roots. Picture shows top and side views. For your comparison - This Root Hook is shorter and the spread of the 3 claws is less than the RP80. Better for smaller trees and less drastic combing. The metal is 3/16" diameter. The spread of the hooks is 1 1/2"
