The following links take you into specific areas of our site. You will
need some tools and supplies to make your Bonsai beautiful. I have identified
some
model numbers to look for. There is one thing I
want
you to remember! I said above that "We did not then nor shall we ever
sell inferior
products". I meant it! I want you to know that the quality of our offerings is
second to none! If it's not the same quality, it's better. Many people
have mistakenly thought that our tools couldn't be better because they
are so much cheaper. The truth is, we buy in huge quantities. No one
can buy as much as we can. Whatsmore, we've been doing it for so long,
no one can get the discount we can either. So after you look at our products
and prices, open another browser and search for other Bonsai Supplies
dealers. Check their prices and the quality of their offerings. Go on,
do it! You'll be back!
| Tools |
You need
a a scissor like our BM01 or BM02 and the all important
concave
cutter like our BM10. |
| Pots |
Either plastic or ceramic depending on your budget. |
| Fertilizer |
Either liquid like F76 or organic like F117 pelletized fertilizer. |
| Wire |
For
shaping – You'll need 3
rolls like 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm and 2.5 mm. |
| Books |
Priceless for understanding
the ideas and tricks behind the hobby. |
I can tell you are wondering
why we have a couple bonsai below and why they are so expensive. The
truth is that all the less
expensive
Bonsai were sold many,
many years
ago and
we ended up with only the most expensive
ones. Fortunately, we love them and would have trouble parting with them. I
may put up some new pictures of them if time allows.

BP40x Tiny Leafed Chinese Elm
$3,495.00
Obtained from China on one our earlier trips in the 80's. Original plant was found in nature, but was artistically designed from the start of its life by Mother Nature and then a skilled Bonsai Master. As these types of Bonsai are truly difficult to estimate age....we place this beauty at possibly 40 to 50 years old. A Masterpiece.
26" above pot: 27" face: 30" depth: 4" + trunk. A Masterpiece.

BP17x - Trident Maple
$2,950.00
This Masterpiece was found in Los Angeles in 1968 in a Bonsai Master's collection. We begged, cajoled and everything else.....but did finally receive the Master's approval to receive it and nurture it. This specimen does not have the huge trunks that we used to obtain from China, but then it doesn't look like a large russet potato either. Its elegantly twiggy growth is reminiscent of the many, many maples we see every year in Japan (but because of our USDA prohibition of imports on them can only look at and wish for). Estimated age is 40 to 50 years. A Masterpiece.
23" above pot: 25" face: 22" depth: 1 1/2" trunk.
