1107 Acer palmatum dissectum 'Red Select' Japanese Red Select Maple. 'Red Select' is an outstanding Lace Leaf Japanese Maple. The newly opening leaves are among the largest of any Dissectum and produce fine silvery hairs giving an appearance like none other. It holds its rich purplish - red color well in to the summer and the fall color is a nice brilliant red. Very similar to Crimson Queen only a bit more vigorous. SORRY NO SHIPPING OF LIVE PLANTS TO CALIFORNIA. EVERY THING ELSE IS OK. 2 year old graft. 3" pot. The trunk is about 1/4 inch thick and the height is about 14 inches. Has been tip pruned to promote side branching. Excellent variety for Bonsai.
